Education & Experience

Mehdi studied Civil Engineering at Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada. He received Ph.D. degree in the area of Behaviour of High Strength Concrete from MUN, St. John’s, NF, Canada.  He has several publications in the area of high strength concrete under static and cyclic loads, and stress analysis around tunnels in the scientific journals.  He has extensive knowledge in the area of design, fabrication, and erection of precast concrete parking garages. He was a project manager with a large precast concrete parking structure with steel roof with capacity of 2800 spaces in Ottawa, Ontario. Application of High strength Concrete in long span bridges, high-rise buildings, finite element analysis of structures, design of retaining walls, foundations, steel and reinforced concrete highway and railway bridges, tunnels, industrial building, shell structures, and  structures under dynamic loads expose to blast are among his expertise. He acts as president and technical director to lead company. He is a member of professional engineers of Ontario, Canada.
